With all due respect to legends such as Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Terrell Owens… the depth and skill level of today’s WR’s in the NFL is currently at an all-time high. It’s not unusual for every generation to have a couple of standout WR superstars, but it seems like every team has one nowadays. We’ve mentioned the passing game is taking over in the NFL, and a big contributor has been the increase in WR talent coming into the league.
With so much WR depth in the NFL, don’t get discouraged if you missed out on some of the top guys. Focus on securing your targeted QB, don’t worry about reaching for your guy. There will be plenty of WRs available in later rounds of the draft that could be used both as starters and bench depth. Studs on top of studs, check it out.
